As coordinator for the Microbiology Doctoral Training Program (MDTP), I am responsible for supporting our students through their graduate careers. I manage recruiting and onboarding of new students, as well as ensuring enrolled students are completing program requirements. I am the primarily liaison between students and the graduate school, and I serve as a first-point of contact for students when they have questions. In addition, I support the faculty trainers in MDTP with programmatic issues, maintain the MDTP website, and support MDTP policy initiatives.
