Affiliations

Tom Brock is now heavily involved in land conservation and restoration. He is the President of the Savanna Oak Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization which provides grants and carries out work on prairie and oak savanna restoration. He and his wife Kathie have created Pleasant Valley Conservancy, a Wisconsin State Natural Area, in a scenic part of southwestern Wisconsin. This Conservancy is open to the public and provides an outstanding example of a restored oak savanna. Thermophilic Microorganisms and Life at High Temperatures - Full Book
